Find the page that describes your week
Nobody buys production engineering in the abstract. They buy it because something happened. Each page below takes one of those moments, says what it costs to leave alone, and shows what we would build.
By situation
The event that sent you looking: a round closed, a deadline landed, a questionnaire arrived, an engineer resigned.
-
Founders and first engineers
The MVP is carrying real customers now
The prototype that won your first customers is now the system they depend on, and nobody planned for that.
BuiltForProd Baseline · BuiltForProd Blueprints · BuiltForProd Managed
-
Series A to C leadership
The round closed. The platform did not change.
The round closed on a plan the current infrastructure cannot carry, and the board wants to know how you will fix that.

CTO with a SOC 2 deadline
SOC 2 in four months, and a deal waiting on it
A signed deal depends on a SOC 2 report, the audit window is months away, and the controls do not exist yet.
BuiltForProd Baseline · Assessment · BuiltForProd Managed
-
Sales blocked by security review
300 questions standing between you and the deal
A vendor security questionnaire arrived from your largest prospect, and half the answers do not exist yet.
BuiltForProd Baseline · Assessment
-
Console-built infrastructure
Three years of clicks, and nothing you could rebuild
Years of console changes made production, and nothing that exists today could be reproduced tomorrow.

-
Technical due diligence
Diligence flagged infrastructure as a risk
An investor or acquirer put infrastructure on the risk list, and the next round or the deal now depends on it.
Assessment · BuiltForProd Baseline · BuiltForProd Managed
By role
Who carries production today, and what that costs them.
-
Teams with no platform owner
Everyone owns production, so nobody does
Production matters to the business, and it is looked after by whoever has the least urgent ticket that week.

-
One engineer holds production
Only Dave knows how it works. Dave gave notice.
One person understands the infrastructure, and the company has just discovered what that means.

-
Platform and cloud engineers
The account structure you would design if you had the time
Account structure, network topology and identity, designed once and correctly, instead of grown by accident.
BuiltForProd Baseline · BuiltForProd Managed
By workload
The system you are about to build, and the Blueprint that already exists for it.
-
Kubernetes and GitOps
Kubernetes is easy to start and expensive to finish
A hardened EKS platform with GitOps delivery and a promotion path, running in your accounts rather than on a whiteboard.

-
Data and analytics teams
The data lake that started as one shared bucket
A governed data lake with zones, a catalog and column-level access control, instead of a bucket everyone shares.

-
Secrets and separation of duties
Your secrets are in .env files, CI variables and chat
One encrypted, reviewed home for every secret, and a production secret a developer cannot read.

What sits behind every solution
Every page here resolves to the same three products and one assessment. The situation changes what we build first, not what production has to mean.
-
Build the foundation.
BuiltForProd Baseline
A multi-account cloud foundation in OpenTofu and Terragrunt, customized for your organization, deployed into your accounts by our engineers, then handed over with the repositories and the documentation.
-
Build the solution.
BuiltForProd Blueprints
Opinionated, production-ready reference architectures for real workloads, deployed into your Baseline. Each one is a working system, not a diagram.
-
Run it with us.
BuiltForProd Managed
Experienced engineers who operate, secure and evolve production as an extension of your team, working through your own access, pull requests and pipelines.
-
Find out where you stand.
BuiltForProd Assessment
A fixed-fee assessment of what you run today against the eight properties of the BuiltForProd Standard, with a prioritized gap list at the end.
Compare the alternatives on why BuiltForProd, see how engagements are quoted on pricing, or read how ownership works on security and ownership.
Questions
What is a BuiltForProd solution page?
A BuiltForProd solution page describes one situation a team is in, what it costs to leave it alone, and which part of the portfolio resolves it: Baseline, Blueprints, Managed or the Assessment. Every page maps to something we actually deliver.
What if none of these situations matches ours?
Tell us what you are running and what is coming. The situations here are the ones we are asked about most often, not the only ones we work on, and we will tell you plainly if we are not the right fit.
Do these solutions apply on Azure and Google Cloud?
Yes. BuiltForProd Baseline is delivered as the AWS Enterprise Baseline, the Azure Enterprise Baseline and the GCP Enterprise Baseline, each engineered around that cloud’s own architecture framework and all built to the same BuiltForProd Standard. Specific control counts on these pages describe the AWS edition.
How much does a solution cost?
Every engagement is a fixed fee, quoted from scope: which cloud, how many accounts and environments, which Blueprints, which optional controls, and whether Managed continues afterward. There is no hourly meter on a deployment.
